So, what do I actually do?

I work with my clients to help them build strong relationships that will create communities. This is done using a range of communication strategies and tactics. I am particularly passionate about encouraging my clients to embrace social media.

Working in partnership with my clients allows me to implement effective communication strategies that will improve productivity, stakeholder relationships and work towards positive behaviour change. It is important to me that the strategy and tactics I propose meet your needs in terms of achieving goals, objectives, budgets and timeframes.

I am particularly interested in partnering with government agencies, NGOs, nonprofit organisations and private corporations to work on people-oriented, social marketing projects to sell positive behaviours that improve health and lives of individuals and communities.

My speciality areas are:

  1. Developing communication strategies that improve make a difference to people lives, improve stakeholder relations and raise awareness; and educating my clients and their stakeholders about effective communication to increase efficiency and productivity.
  2. Digital media – getting maximum results from social media and online communication.
  3. Running workshops and speaking at conferences and industry events on topics including social media, networking, communication, and building your own brand.

My experiences traverses many industries and projects to achieve outcomes that meet the short and long term expectations of my client and, where necessary, their stakeholders.

I have experience in:

  • Developing and delivering communication campaigns, targeted to specific audiences, delivered in a set timeframe and to an agreed budget
  • Managing communication projects including change management/internal communication, product launches, conveying the outcomes of research programs
  • Raising organisations profiles
  • Producing publications and communication material
  • Undertaking research including surveys and focus groups
  • Conducting literature reviews
  • Integrating digital and social media with traditional communication
  • Negotiating with stakeholders, partners and communities to achieve common goals.
